Ilmastointi Salminen Oy, IS Works Oy and Besteam Oy join the Kotera Group

Kotera Group Oy and IS Group Oy have signed a transaction agreement on March 20, 2026, under which Ilmastointi Salminen Oy, IS Works Oy and Besteam Oy will join the Kotera Group. Completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, and the closing is expected to take place within approximately two weeks.

Following the transaction, the companies will continue to operate as before under their current business IDs, personnel and brands. The current management of the companies will remain in place and continue as owners through shareholdings in Kotera Group.

The IS Group consists of three companies: Ilmastointi Salminen Oy, IS Works Oy and Besteam Oy. Ilmastointi Salminen is a versatile provider of building services engineering as well as industrial maintenance and project services, specializing particularly in demanding HVAC and mechanical installation projects. IS Works operates as a contract machine shop specializing in demanding industrial applications, and Besteam focuses on the manufacturing and sales of its own products.

According to the most recent approved financial statements (2024), the combined revenue of the companies subject to the transaction was approximately EUR 35.6 million, with EBITDA of approximately EUR 12.1 million. As a result of the transaction, the combined revenue of the Kotera Group in 2024 will increase to approximately EUR 206 million and EBITDA to approximately EUR 26 million.

The acquisition is in line with Kotera Group’s strategy to build a leading, agile and profitable industrial construction, renovation and building services ecosystem. At the core of the strategy are growth through acquisitions, operational excellence, and the integration of entrepreneur-led companies into a scalable entity covering a broad part of the value chain. At the same time, the Group aims for controlled expansion beyond Finland into other Nordic countries and selected nearby markets.
